Launching my newly designed web site

Today I am launching my new web site. It took a better part of two weeks to plan, design and rewrite my pages. I thought it would only take a few hours... and then just one more day... I will finish it this weekend... nope, two weeks. My intentions are to provide as much information I can to people visiting my site, so they can get to know me on a personal level and see what I have to offer. Rocky Mountain High School Class of 2000

I had a great time seeing familiar faces at my high school ten year reunion for the Class of 2000 at Rocky Mountain High School. This was an event I wasn’t going to miss. I spent 12-years of my life with some of these fellow classmates going to school, growing up with them and being friends. They were a great part of my life. It is hard to keep up with these people when you don’t get to see them everyday in the real world. A part of me wishes I could see them like we were in school, but that is life and we have got to keep moving forward. Not everyone was there of course, around 90 classmates attended, which is well short of our 500. Some people hardly changed and others I had a real hard time recognizing. We spent five hours at the Island at the marina. The time went by quick, but so did these last ten years. There is not enough time in this world to spend it with those you care about. I wish we could all catch up every year, but everyone is now living a different life. In another ten years, it will be our 20-year reunion, and of course, it will come sooner than we could have imagined, just like this one.

Thank you to all who showed up. It was great to see you. Maybe we could plan something small every year, similar to the BBQ we had on Friday night?

Jonah Stadtmueller - Children Photography

This child photo shoot was something I was looking forward to for a long time. Jonah Stadtmueller is the child of Carrie and Michael, who are members of the same church as me, Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Fort Collins, CO. Michael is my pastor and Carrie asked if I would be interested in taking Jonah’s 3-year-old pictures. I was more than willing and more than happy to do so, I mean, just look how cute he is. If you were to meet him, you would also get to meet his lovable personality. We did this photo shoot at Eldora Park in Fort Collins, up on the hill in the trees, by the stream, throwing rocks into the pond and at the playground.
